We have been getting ready to send some Christmas gifts so I thought I would share. The Christmas Tree bookmark I just finished crocheting and will tuck in a card. Check out the bows on the boxes. These are made from candy bags that are cut into 1/4 inch strips and then curled like curling ribbon. I sit and curl up a bunch and then tie them in the center and tape to the box. Cool way to recycle! The cards are origami folded cranes in silver paper to form a trifold card. They are for sale here Just click shop and then treasures. Your bookmark came out great. I love it. You really need to make things year round and then get a booth at a craft fair or somewhere locally sell them. I love your bows. How do you set up to cut the strips and how long are they? Love them and the idea of recycling candy bags, especially those of us that give out candy for Halloween and have lots of bags of candy.
