Christmas Crochet

And now for the rest of the Christmas Crochet...you know the things you can't post for fear someone will see them. Or in my case that I was finishing at 10:00p.m. on Christmas Eve! Anyway, you can see them on my other blog by clicking here. Time to move on. And I have several things I can work on.

Grinchette

I just had to squeeze in a sweater for the puppy. Can you see by her expression just how NOT happy she was? Now to come up with something for her cohort Schatten so we can have a Max for our Grinch.

Crocheted Christmas Bookmarks

These are some of the bookmarks I have been crocheting. So much to get done this time of the year means I am not getting as much time as usual for crocheting but these are quick and easy.

Crocheted Tea Pot Cozies

I have been wanting to make cozies for my teapots for several months and finally found time to make these from a kit. I did shorten the larger one to suit my pot but it was an easy pattern to follow.

You may notice a crocheted ring on the spout. This is from a much older pattern to catch any dribbles. I wanted one to match the Christmas motif.

Getting ready to send

We have been getting ready to send some Christmas gifts so I thought I would share. The Christmas Tree bookmark I just finished crocheting and will tuck in a card.

Check out the bows on the boxes. These are made from candy bags that are cut into 1/4 inch strips and then curled like curling ribbon. I sit and curl up a bunch and then tie them in the center and tape to the box. Cool way to recycle! The cards are origami folded cranes in silver paper to form a trifold card.
